The story
Wednesday night on Van Nuys Boulevard. The boulevard was a cruising strip from the 1950s on, and by the late 1970s the Wednesday-night cruise could draw tens of thousands of cars. Our own design: Cruise Night in script over VAN NUYS BLVD., embroidered in gold thread on a black dad hat.
